100Kw Solar PV 82.5Kw Battery Storage

Vetren Energy are pleased to be working on our latest ESS Solar upgrade.

Early last year a fire ripped through a local farm destroying the main shed and main supply along with all the solar plant room.

Along with Victron, Vetren Energy have designed and are implementing an ESS solution to provide Three Phase (mains backup) supply along with 82.5Kw of battery storage.

The Victron ESS system allows the farm to add further solar PV on the roofs along with additional battery storage as and when (with no further DNO application).

An ESS (Energy Storage System) provides Three Phase power to the whole farm direct from the battery system allowing for none or little input from the main grid connection.

In the event of a power supply the whole farm can run directly from Solar PV and Battery Storage. the system also has been designed to have the ability for generator backup (up to 125KVA)

25Kw Solar PV 11.6Kw Battery storage

Looking for a solution to reduce energy usage during milking periods, Vetren energy designed a 25Kw Solar PV system along with 11.6Kw of battery storage. With milking predominantly being out of sunshine hours the system can store excess power in-between milking and supplying everyday usage.

Typically, we find energy providers are not interested in buying back excess or generated power below 30Kw and thus battery storage helps to buffer excess generation with demand.

With battery storage we recommend starting with the manufacturers minimum (Three phase systems require a minimum of 2 batteries). and to monitor usage via the App or online portal.

Looking for a Solar PV solution with Battery storage our little cottage contacted the Vetren team to provide a simple but cost-effective solution.

The system was designed to cover the car port and to house the main inverter and battery.

After providing a solution and connecting the main house to the car port the owner now has lighting and mains supply in the carport along with a fully functioning Solar PV system and battery storage all connected online for full remote access

The Livoltek system has the ability to provide full off-grid power without being (Grid) tied.

The Livoltek system also if required has the ability to be connected for generator backup.

Replace 120Kw inverters

Vetren Energy were tasked to replace 7-year-old burnt out and damaged inverters.

After contacting the original installation company and manufacturer we found out both had disappeared into the unknown!

the Vetren team found a replacement solution that replaces like for like inverter size but increases the performance by a minimum 10% uplift.

After missing out on nearly a year's generation the farm now has the ability to continue claiming the original FIT deal without any new installation compromise.

Providing a full 5Kw Solar PV and 5.1Kw of battery storage this off-grid setup was designed to provide power for the basic day to day uses (sockets, lighting, kitchen area).

13 panels and one inverter/battery later the system was installed and connected to a backup generator to provide power.
